How fast does Emily the Strange ship?

I%26#039;m buying a pair of mary jane sneakers for my graduation from emilystrange.com. However, my graduation is on Thursday the 12th (Today is Saturday the 7th) and I don%26#039;t know if the shoes will arrive on time. Shipping is $19.87 for delivery in 2 business days but it says to allow 1 - 2 business days for in-house handling and availability. I don%26#039;t wanna pay that much money for shipping if the shoes wont even get here on time. So, for those of you who have ordered from Emily the Strange before, how fast do they ship on average? I live in San Diego County (San Marcos, specifically) btw.
